How do I book an appointment at Total Trim?
We're appointment-only, so call us at to schedule your time. Walk-ins aren't available, but appointments mean you get our full attention without waiting. We'll find a time that works for your schedule and make sure we're ready when you arrive.
What's the difference between a fade and a taper?
A taper gradually shortens your hair from top to bottom, usually blending into longer hair on top. A fade takes it shorter—sometimes down to the skin—and creates a sharper contrast. Both look clean, but fades are bolder. We'll recommend what works best for your hair type and style preference.
Do you do kids' haircuts?
Yes. Thomas has cut hair for kids and adults for 30 years, so he knows how to work with younger clients. Appointments help because kids do better when they're not waiting around. Just let us know when you book so we can plan the right amount of time.
How often should I get my beard trimmed?
Most guys come in every 2-3 weeks to keep their beard looking sharp. If you grow fast or want really clean lines, weekly might work better. If you're growing it out, once a month for shaping is usually enough. We'll tell you honestly what makes sense based on how your beard grows.
